Ramos, Toyama cruise to second win with victory over Kyoto

Dwight Ramos' Toyama Grouses cruised to their second win in the 2021 Japan B. League after eking out a 94-80 victory over Kyoto Hannaryz on Wednesday at the Kyoto City Gymnasium.

The victory improved Grouses' record to 2-10 to forge a tie with Kyoto in the team standings.

Ramos finished with seven points and two rebounds in 17 minutes of action. With Ramos struggling to convert, Julian Mavunga led the Grouses with a triple-double off 22 markers, 10 boards, and 10 assists.

Brice Johnson and Kevin Hareyama, meanwhile, each poured in 11 points.

Toyama returns to action this Saturday, November 13, with the much-anticipated face-off between Ramos and Thirdy Ravena and the San-en NeoPhoenix at 5:05 p.m.
