Purefoods shuts down Meralco to claim PBA 3x3 Leg 4 title

The Purefoods TJ Titans are the latest 3x3 champions after shutting down Meralco Bolts 3x3, 21-16, in the Finals of the fourth leg of the PBA 3x3 Lakas ng Tatlo tournament on Sunday.

Jun Bonsubre delivered the game-winning shot for Purefoods. Paolo Javelona had 10 points and three rebounds in the title match.

With the win, Purefoods will take home P100,000, while Meralco will take home P50,000.

Prior to the title match, Purefoods defeated the TNT Tropang Giga in the semis, 21-11, and Pioneer Pro Tibay, 20-15, in the quarters.

Meralco 3x3 defeated Cavitex, 21-16, in the quarters before dispatching Platinum Karaoke, 21-13, in the semis.

TNT outlasted Platinum in the battle for third, 21-20, to take home P30,000.

TNT, Meralco, and Sista Super Sealers won the first, second, and third leg of the PBA 3x3 tournament.
