Returning import Henry Walker quickly made his presence felt after lifting Rain or Shine past his former team Blackwater, 92-79, in the 2021 PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Walker, who also previously played for Alaska and NLEX, finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, and three assists as the Elasto Painters secured their first win of the conference.

Rey Nambatac and Javee Mocon were also instrumental in the win after listing 16 markers apiece.

Rain or Shine trailed Blackwater by six at halftime, 41-35, with Rashawn McCarthy, Barkley Eboña, and import Jaylen Bond leading the offensive charge for the Bossing.

But the Elasto Painters came alive in the second half, outscoring the new-look Blackwater, 57-38, en route to the victory.

During Rain or Shine's second half barrage, Nambatac poured in 13 of his overall output while Mocon contributed 11.

Rain or Shine's win added to the woes of Blackwater, who endured its 20-straight loss, the longest streak in the league's history.

The Elasto Painters will try to secure its second win against the Terrafirma Dyip on Saturday.
