Jack Animam returns to US as Serbian club Radnicki confirms injury

Jack Animam is heading back to the United States.

Radnicki Kragujevac, Animam's club in the First Women's Basketball League of Serbia, announced on Saturday that the Filipina cager is returning to the States after apparently sustaining an injury.

"Let's send our Jack off to America. Thanks to her for everything she's done in such a short time," Radnicki said in an Instagram post.

"She was one of the key players in the senior team. We wish her a speedy recovery."

Animam, who inked a deal with the club just last August, had been instrumental in the team's run after averaging double-double outputs of 20 points and 14.3 rebounds through eight games.

The 6-foot-5 bruiser's return trip to the US also came just a month after she announced her decision to enter next year's WNBA Draft.
