Next mission? Blacklist International looking ahead to SEA Games after M3 conquest

SINGAPORE—Blacklist International is still on a high following their historic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M3 World Championship feat but the members are now looking forward to what lies ahead.

Salic "Hadji" Imam said that after they were able to conquer the world stage, the squad is eyeing to defend the country's MLBB title in the prestigious Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

"Our next mission maybe would be the SEA Games," said the 18-year-old pro player in the post-game press conference.

Esports first made an appearance in the biennial meet during the 2019 edition, which was hosted by the Philippines.

Filipinos saw plenty of success in the tournament, bagging a total of five medals with three gold medals coming from MLBB, DOTA 2, and Starcraft II as well as silver and bronze medals in Tekken 7.

But while the other members are already eyeing to compete again, some said they will take some time off to spend time with their families, especially following nonstop competitions for the Tier One-backed squad.

"Maybe for now, we'll find some time to bond and go to vacation because we missed that as we were competing continuously," said head coach Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza.

Dexter Louise "DEX STAR" Alaba added: "For now, we will take a break. We have been competing for months now as after MPL PH Season 8, we fought in MPLI then here in M3."
