Limitless reigns anew in PBA 3x3 with back-to-back title runs

In a rematch of the Leg 5 finals, the Limitless Appmasters reigned supreme anew in the sixth leg of the PBA 3x3 Lakas ng Tatlo tournament after repeating against the TNT Tropang Giga in the finals, 21-18, on Tuesday.

Brandon Rosser scored 5 points for the Phoenix 3x3 affiliate's second title.

Prior to the finals, Limitless defeated the San Miguel Beermen (SMB) in the semifinals, 19-16, and Leg 2 champions Meralco Bolts in the quarterfinals, 22-15.

TNT, on the other hand, dispatched Platinum Karaoke, 19-15 in the semis, and Pioneer Pro Tibay, 21-17, in the quarters.

Platinum won the battle for third place against SMB, 21-13.

Terrafirma 3x3, Pioneer, Limitless, TNT, and Barangay Ginebra completed the playoffs picture on Tuesday after SMB, Meralco, and Platinum qualified the day before.

The Grand Finals of the 3x3 tournament will be held on December 29. TNT, Meralco, Sista Super Sealers, Purefoods TJ Titans, and Limitless won the first five legs of the tournament.
