Andray Blatche expresses desire to play in the PBA

It looks like someone is itching to play in front of his kababayans.

On Sunday, former Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player Andray Blatche expressed his desire to play in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

"I wanna come play," Blatche said in a reply to a video posted by the PBA.

Blatche last played for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China. He also joined the Philippine-based team Mighty Sports in the 2020 Dubai International Basketball Championship.

If Blatche will join a PBA team, it will not be the first time that a naturalized Gilas big man will play in the league.

Previously, naturalized player Marcus Douthit also had stints as reinforcement for then Air21 Express and the Blackwater franchise.
