NorthPort star Robert Bolick leads BPC Race
After a stellar showing in the season-ending conference, Robert Bolick leads the race for the Best of the Conference award at the conclusion of the 2021 PBA Governors' Cup elimination round.
The NorthPort guard emerged on top after collecting 39.9 statistical points (SPs) buoyed by his impressive 21.8 points per game to lead all the locals. The former San Beda star is also the frontrunner in terms of assists and steals, averaging 8.8 and 2.2, respectively.
Following Bolick is Matthew Wright of Phoenix Super LPG after compiling 34.9 SPs built on 18.2 points per game and 5.8 dimes. Rookie Mikey Williams of TNT came in third with 33.9 SPs.
Rounding out the top five are Kevin Alas of NLEX and Bolick's teammate Arwind Santos, who earned 33.55 and 33.50 SPs, respectively.
Bolick's chances of copping the award, however, got slimmer as the NorthPort failed to make it to the playoff after falling to the Fuel Masters and ending the regular season with a 5-7 card, good for ninth spot.
