Boyet Sison, sports personality, passes away

Veteran sports broadcaster Boyet Sison passed away at the age of 58 on Saturday, April 16.
According to ABS-CBN, which announced the news on Saturday evening, he was hospitalized earlier in the week for an intestinal illness that required surgery.
Sison is remembered for long-running sports television and radio programs such as “Fastbreak” and “Hardball”.
He also had stints as a radio broadcaster for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) games and as a coliseum announcer for the league, as well as being known as the voice of mixed martial arts promotion Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC).
Sison was also a veteran radio disc jockey and a news presenter.
