The Philippines jumped to no. 18 in the latest FIBA 3x3 federation rankings following the successful hosting of the 2022 FIBA 3×3 World Tour Manila Masters over the weekend.

The country was previously ranked 27th in the world but leaped nine places higher as Serbia maintained its hold of top spot. Lithuania, Latvia, and Belgium are at second, third, and fourth places respectively, in the update made on May 31.

The Philippines accumulated 794,057 points to reach 18th place.

Behind the leadership of Chooks-to-Go, the country staged the recent three-a-side tournament where two Filipino clubs, Manila Chooks and Cebu Chooks, both ended up falling in their respective quarterfinal assignments.

Manila fell to Mongolia's Sansar MMC Energy, 21-16, while Cebu lost to Serbia's Liman Huishan NE, 21-11.
