Calvin Abueva fined P10k, suspended one game for unsportsmanlike conduct

The Philippine Basketball Association on Tuesday slapped a P10,000 fine and one game suspension to Magnolia Hotshots forward Calvin Abueva.

In a social media post, the league said "Abueva has already been warned after a first unsportsmanlike conduct the prior PBA season, and that a similar offense would result to a suspension."

During the game between Magnolia and Barangay Ginebra last Sunday, Abueva was ejected early in the fourth period due to unsportsmanlike behavior.

Despite the ejection of Abueva, who reportedly headed out of the playing venue with the game still ongoing, Magnolia won against Ginebra, 89-84.
