Mikey Williams drops 31 vs Terrafirma as TNT picks up fifth win in a row

Mikey Williams flaunted his scoring prowess anew, steering TNT to its fifth win in a row after a 114-86 drubbing of hapless Terrafirma in the 2022 PBA Philippine Cup on Friday.

Williams had another all-around showing with a conference-high 31 points, seven rebounds, and five assists off the bench as the streaking Tropang Giga improved to 7-2.

With Williams leading the way for TNT, Terrafirma remained unable to barge into the win column and are still winless through six games.

The win also assured TNT a spot in the quarterfinal stage.

Williams got plenty of help from his teammates with Poy Erram churning out 18 points and nine rebounds while RR Pogoy chipped in 15 markers.

Joshua Munzon led the Dyip with his 25-point output which he added with six boards and two assists in almost 40 minutes of action.
