TNT wins PBA 3x3 third conference crown

TNT Tropang Giga 3x3 reigned supreme in the third conference grand finals of the PBA 3x3 tournament on Sunday at Robinsons Place Manila.

Gryann Mendoza drilled the final shot in overtime to take the title against the Purefoods TJ Titans, 21-19. Mendoza tallied eight points while Almond Vosotros had five points. Samboy de Leon and Lervin Flores added four points each.

Prior to the Finals, TNT defeated San Miguel in the semis, 21-15, and Barangay Ginebra, 21-14 in the quarters. Purefoods, meanwhile ousted the Sista Super Sealers, 21-19, in the semis, and Limitless Appmasters, 18-16, in the quarters. Platinum Karaoke and Meralco completed the playoffs picture.

Sista claimed the bronze after beating SMB in the battle for third place, 21-20.

This is TNT's first grand championship in the tournament after winning three leg titles in this conference alone.
