PBA MVPs June Mar Fajardo, Scottie Thompson eyed for Gilas' campaign in FIBA November window

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas on Thursday said Gilas Pilipinas is looking to include PBA Most Valuable Players June Mar Fajardo and Scottie Thompson in the November window of the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers.

Fajardo last played for the national team in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi where they finished with a silver medal. Thompson played for Gilas in the latest window in August.

Aside from the two MVPs, the SBP said it also plans to include CJ Perez, Japeth Aguilar, Arvin Tolentino, and TNT teammates Roger Pogoy and Poy Erram.

Gilas will play Jordan and Saudi Arabia, both away games, in the fifth window of the Asian qualifiers.
