Roosevelt Adams signs with B.League's Kagawa Five Arrows

Another Filipino player is heading to Japan B.League.

Roosevelt Adams, the top pick of the 2019 PBA Draft Class, signed with Division 2 team Kagawa Five Arrows, the team announced on Wednesday.

In a statement, Adams said he is grateful for the opportunity to play with the team.

"Very grateful for this opportunity and super excited to meet everyone," he said in a statement. "Looking forward to creating great relationships and memories this season!"

Adams was a part of the Gilas Pilipinas team which played Saudi Arabia in the fourth window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Early this year, Terrafirma head coach John Cardel hoped that the team could still convince Adams to stay despite the offers.

Adams will join the likes of Kobe Paras, Jordan Heading, and Greg Slaughter in Division 2 of the Japanese league.
