NLEX welcomes Frankie Lim as new head coach

The NLEX Road Warriors on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of its new head coach Frankie Lim.

In a statement, the multi-titled collegiate champion coach said he wants the team to be better and more competitive in the shortest possible time.

"I want the team to be stronger, better and more competitive to ensure the win. We can implement some changes so the team can improve and be better in the soonest possible time," he said.

Lim also attended the team's practice on Thursday at the University of the Philippines gym.

Lim replaced Yeng Guiao, who moved back to his former team Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

NLEX is set to open their PBA Commissioner's Cup campaign on Friday at the PhilSports Arena when they play the Elasto Painters.
