Shabazz Muhammad drops 26 as Strong Group dominates Libya's Al Nasr for second win

The Strong Group of the Philippines notched its second win in the 32nd Dubai International Basketball Championship as it took down the Al Nasr team of Libya, 93-76, early Sunday morning (Manila time) in the Al Nasr Club in Dubai.

The Philippine squad led by as much as 26 points, 88-62, in the middle of the fourth period to eventually take home the win. The Strong Group had the advantage, 56-46, at the end of the first half after a dominant 37-21 performance in the first quarter.

Strong Group reinforcement Shabazz Muhammad posted 26 points, seven rebounds, and two assists in the victory, while Renaldo Balkman chalked up 18 points, nine boards, and four dimes. Sedrick Barefield led the locals with 14 points.

Meanwhile, Donte Lamnot tallied 22 points for Al Nasr in the losing effort.
