Jordan Williams drops 57 as Terrafirma spoils Blackwater import Troy Williams' 55-point explosion

Jordan Williams got the last laugh as he steered Terrafirma to a 119-106 triumph over Blackwater despite a monster outing from Troy Williams in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup on Thursday.

Williams dropped 57 points, 27 of which came in the first half, alongside 11 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks as the Dyip returned to their winning ways at 2-2 while the Bossing went to 1-4.

Blackwater's Williams brought the slumping Bossing to a 104-101 deficit with 3:06 left before his fellow import ignited for six quick points to power an 8-0 run, 112-101.

It was an exchange of baskets for both reinforcements with Troy's five points in the next sequence made it a 117-106 disadvantage for Blackwater, but those weren't enough as Eric Camson put the nail in the coffin with a jumper in the final eight seconds.

Juami Tiongson provided the help for Jordan with 27 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal while Camson came off the bench with 17 markers and nine boards.

Troy Williams' 55 points went for naught as Blackwater absorbed its third straight losses.
