Converge head coach Aldin Ayo said he considers the win on Saturday against the San Miguel Beermen as a morale-booster but for him, the FiberXers are still a 'work in progress.'

The FiberXers defeated San Miguel, 107-103, and dealt the Beermen their first loss in the conference.

"It's a big morale-booster for us but we have to handle this win very well. We have to learn from this," Ayo said in a post-game conference.

"Even though we won, there are lots of things that we still have to work on. We are still a work in progress."

While this is not the first time that Converge defeated San Miguel under Ayo's belt, the Sorsogon native considers this a good win because they learned from this match.

"This is the win where we are learning. We were able to put the right players at the right spot. During crucial situations, we made good decisions down the stretch. Nailagay namin 'yung bola sa tamang players," said Ayo.

For Converge import Jamaal Franklin who registered 37 points, the whole team should be credited.

"That was a team win. I'm here as the best player right now, but it should be the best team. It should be every one of our last players in here right now," Franklin said.

Converge is now tied with San Miguel and TNT, all three teams with five wins and a loss in the conference.
