Sean Alter commits to UP

The University of the Philippines added another big man to its roster as they secured the commitment of six-foot-eight Sean Alter.

The 19-year old big man formalized his decision on Sunday ahead of Fil-Nation's Division 1 finals against National University-Nazareth School in the 2023 NBTC National Finals.

In their unbeaten run in the NBTC, Alter posted 5.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.

"Sean's another important piece to the puzzle for us to keep competing in the UAAP," UP basketball program director Bo Perasol said in a statement.

Alter will join the likes of new commits Luis Pablo and Seven Gagate, with Malick Diouf still in rotation for the Diliman-based squad.

UP's new commit is eligible to play in Season 86.
