Barangay Ginebra books semis slot after taking down NLEX
Barangay Ginebra San Miguel booked a semis slot in the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup after taking down NLEX Road Warriors, 127-93, in the tournament's quarterfinals on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Ginebra import Justin Brownlee put up his usual numbers with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists, while Jamie Malonzo and Christian Standhardinger had 20 points apiece.
NLEX import Wayne Selden was in uniform but was relegated to the sidelines. Sean Anthony had 16 points while Kevin Alas had 14 points for the Road Warriors.
Ginebra will face San Miguel in a best-of-five series.
