After Belga, Rain or Shine to also fine Rey Nambatac for participation in unsanctioned game

Rain or Shine is set to slap Rey Nambatac a fine after the guard was found to have violated his PBA Uniform Players' Contract by participating in an unsanctioned exhibition game outside of the league.

The organization announced that Nambatac will be fined two days worth of his salary for the action.

This makes Nambatac the second Elasto Painter to be fined for similar violations after big man Beau Belga was recently handed a six-day suspension with no pay as well as a fine worth 15 days of his salary.

ROS management's internal investigation revealed that Belga joined unsanctioned exhibition games in Cebu, Davao, and Laguna.
