Kiefer Ravena extends contract with Shiga Lakes

Filipino import Kiefer Ravena extended his contract with the B.League team Shiga Lakes until the 2023-24 season.

The team announced the development last week on Wednesday, May 24.

"We are pleased to inform you that we have reached an agreement with Kiefer Ravena on a player contract (continuation) for the 2023-24 season," the team said in a statement.

Ravena, meanwhile, said in a statement that he is excited to be with the team again.

"A new day has arrived for everyone. The past is over and we are all looking ahead. Thank you for believing in us every game. A new journey begins for Shiga, but we know that with your support, we can get back to where we were before. I'm sure everyone will grow further and the results will surely be better," he said.

The Shiga Lakes will be relegated to B2 in the upcoming season as it ended last season with only 14 from 60 wins to finish 23rd among 24 B1 teams.

Kai Sotto also announced his extension with the Hiroshima Dragonflies in the B.League, but remains in pursuit of his dream towards the NBA.
