Nuggets a win away from NBA title after Game 4 victory over Heat

The Denver Nuggets are within one win of the championship after a 108-95 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Finals on Friday at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

Aaron Gordon scored a game-high 27 points alongside seven rebounds and six assists to lead the Nuggets while Denver superstar Nikola Jokic finished with 23 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and three blocks.

Bruce Brown also gave the Nuggets a huge lift with 21 points, including 11 in the last 5:07 of the game.

The Nuggets entered the fourth quarter with a 13-point lead but the Heat opened the period with an 8-0 run to make it a game, 86-81.

But the Western Conference champs got some crucial baskets from Brown and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope down the stretch to seal the win.

The Nuggets now lead the series, 3-1, and can clinch the franchise's first-ever title when the series shifts back to Denver for Game 5.
