Magnolia wallops NorthPort by 36 to stay undefeated in PBA On Tour

Magnolia kept its unblemished record intact after taking down NorthPort, 125-89, in the 2023 PBA On Tour on Friday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The Hotshots improved to 6-0 to retain the top spot while the Batang Pier dropped to an even 3-3 slate.

Jerrick Ahanmisi showed the way for Magnolia, churning out 23 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal while Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 member Joseph Eriobu finished with 16 markers, four boards, and three dimes.

Magnolia returns to action on July 2, Sunday, against Meralco while NorthPort takes on NLEX on July 5.

Meanwhile, Reden Celda sparked off the bench to steer Phoenix Super LPG to a 104-92 victory against Terrafirma.

Celda dropped 19 points in 23 minutes alongside three rebounds, one assist, and one steal while Chris Lalata chipped in 15 markers and eight boards as the Fuel Masters hiked their standing to 3-3.

The Dyip, on the other hand, slid to 3-4.

Phoenix will look to keep its momentum when it battles Blackwater this coming Sunday while Terrafirma will face Ginebra on June 30, Friday.
