Nambatac, Pogoy sign contract extensions with Rain or Shine, TNT

Rey Nambatac and RR Pogoy have signed separate contract extensions with their respective teams ahead of the 48th season of the PBA this October.

Nambatac inked a new two-year deal with Rain or Shine while Pogoy has been locked in for another three-year contract with TNT.

According to the Elasto Painters, Nambatac’s previous contract is valid until 2024, which makes the new deal effective until 2026.

Nambatac was among the leading scorers for Rain or Shine in the previous 2023 Governors’ Cup, where he averaged 13.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.

Pogoy, on the other hand, played a crucial role in the Tropang Giga’s championship run, posting 20.6 markers, 4.6 boards, and 1.6 dimes as TNT dethroned Barangay Ginebra to win the Governors' Cup.
