Kai Sotto is hard at work as he attended the Orlando Magic’s practice session in preparation for the team's 2023 NBA Summer League campaign.
The Filipino wunderkind was seen participating in the practices in posts uploaded by the Magic's official social media channels on Tuesday (Philippine time).
Sotto received an invitation to join Orlando's Summer League team late last month in his continuing bid to be the first homegrown Filipino talent to ever set foot in the NBA.
He was later revealed to be one of the names on the list when the Magic announced their Summer League roster.
He had also recently renewed a contract with the Hiroshima Dragonflies for the 2023-2024 Japan B. League season, but one that would allow him to sign with an NBA team if there was interest.
Sotto is also part of the Gilas Pilipinas national team's pool of players that could be selected to compete in the 2023 FIBA World Cup in Manila this August.
