Karl-Anthony Towns after Manila arrival: Kumusta ka, Pilipinas?

Minnesota Timberwolves star and Dominican Republic standout Karl-Anthony Towns arrived with the Dominican Republic basketball team on Monday for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Upon the team's arrival, the NBA star posted on X a voice message for the Philippines.

"Kamusta ka, Pilipinas? Mabuhay" Towns wrote in the caption of his post.

He also tried his hand in the Filipino language with his message.

The Dominican Republic will be the first opponent of Gilas Pilipinas in the World Cup on Friday at the Philippine Arena.
