Karl-Anthony Towns called for 3 fouls in 1st quarter vs Angola
Karl-Anthony Towns is already in foul trouble in the first quarter of the Dominican Republic's match against Angola in the 2023 FIBA World Cup on Tuesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Just in the said quarter alone, Towns was already called for three fouls, one made during the 9:11 mark, followed by another personal foul at the 6:09 mark and a technical foul at the said mark.
Towns is crucial in Dominican Republic's campaign against Angola as he has already posted averages of 25 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in the past two games.
An Angola win against the Dominican Republic will automatically boot out Gilas Pilipinas from contention.
