PBA postpones All-Star festivities in Davao over 'security concerns'

The PBA on Wednesday announced that it is postponing the supposed All-Star Weekend in Davao del Norte due to security reasons.

League commissioner Willie Marcial bared the development, saying there are things that are not within their control that prompted the PBA to put off the annual festivities originally slated from May 2 to 4.

Marcial said they are now considering holding the All-Star event in Visayas, but stressed it could be held after the May 12 elections due to time limitations.

In an earlier interview, the PBA also revealed that the upcoming All-Star weekend will be seeing the revival of the Rookies-Sophomores-Juniors (RSJ) vs. Veterans event.
