Kieffer Alas sets sights on US after playing for DLSZ
UAAP Season 87 juniors basketball Most Valuable Player and Gilas Pilipinas Youth standout Kieffer Alas is heading to the United States.
Alas on Wednesday posted his message to his alma mater De La Salle Santiago Zobel, which he represented in the UAAP.
"Words can’t express my gratitude. Thank you for loving me not because of but in spite of everything that has happened. As I enter my senior year in [the United States], I couldn’t be more grateful to Zobel for their guidance and support. Such an honor to represent the green and white. Heck of a ride, always thankful that God led me to this school."
A Grade 11 student, Alas led Zobel to a 6-8 finish in the UAAP boys basketball tournament, but they missed the Final Four.
Alas previously said he is going to Australia to train.
However, reports said he will go to the US after the training camp.
