FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Group Standings: Gilas Pilipinas, Chinese Taipei, Iraq, New Zealand
The 2025 FIBA Asia Cup opened on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia.
Gilas Pilipinas is grouped with Chinese Taipei, New Zealand, and Iraq to form Group D of the tournament.
The best ranked team at the end of the group stage games will directly advance to the quarterfinals. The no. 2 and 3 teams, meanwhile, will qualify for the playoff for the quarterfinals.
For Group D, the second-ranked team will take on the no. 3 team of Group C. The Group C no. 2, meanwhile, will face Group D's no. 3.

New Zealand match will directly advance to the quarterfinals. Chinese Taipei and Gilas Pilipinas, meanwhile, will move to the playoff for a quarterfinals spot.
Chinese Taipei will face Jordan, while the Philippines will take on host country Saudi Arabia in the quarterfinals qualifiers.
