Dwight Ramos led Gilas Pilipinas to a 66-57 win against Iraq in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Ramos had 21 points to keep the Philippines in the running in the Asian tourney.

With the victory, the Philippines booked the no. 3 slot in Group D behind Chinese Taipei and New Zealand, who both have 2-0 records. Finishing third in the group allowed the Philippines to move on to the qualification round for a quarterfinals spot.

Gilas will face the no. 2 seed of Group C, which is composed of China (2-0), Saudi Arabia (1-1), Jordan (1-1), and India (0-2).
