Australia, China set for FIBA Asia Cup final clash
Australia aims to win its third straight FIBA Asia Cup title when it takes on former champion China in the finals on Monday, 12:00 a.m. (Philippine time) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Boomers, which dispatched Gilas Pilipinas in the quarterfinals, 84-60, and Iran in the semis, 92-48, have been back-to-back champions of the continental meet since joining in the 2017 edition.
China, meanwhile, last won the trophy in 2015 with the Philippines as their finals foe.
China advanced to the finals after defeating New Zealand in the semis, 98-84.
Iran and New Zealand, meanwhile, will battle for bronze.
