David Licauco to compete in FIBA 3x3 ‘Lite Quest’ tourney
David Licauco is taking his talents to the hardcourt once again as he is set to compete in the Pilipinas United 3x3 League (PUL), which is categorized as a FIBA 3x3 Lite Quest competition.
A FIBA 3x3 Lite Quest event is a tournament where the winner will advance to a 3x3 Challenger event.
"Si David Licauco will be playing in one of the teams, Taho Story. Nung una initially one game lang siya maglalaro pero I heard ngayon he will play the entire tournament. I'm sure everybody's looking forward to seeing him play," said PUL commissioner Eric Altamirano, who co-founded the league alongside Andrew Combate.
Licauco will join pro players Louie Vigil, Gryann Mendoza, and Sierra Leone native Tosh Sesay in Taho Story A.
Licauco has previously shown his basketball skills when he joined the GMA NCAA All-Star event in Season 97 back in 2022.

Aside from Taho Story's two teams, six more local squads and four foreign teams comprise the men's division. The winner of the tournament — which will be held from August 23 to 24 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay — will get a USD 5,000 cash prize and a spot in the FIBA 3x3 Kaohsiung Challenger in October, while the top local team will play in the FIBA 3x3 Manila Challenger in September.
The women's division, meanwhile, will be bannered by Gilas Pilipinas Women U23, Uratex Dream, and Pilipinas Aguilas along with five more teams.
?The women's national team will be led by two-time UAAP Most Valuable Player Kacey dela Rosa of Ateneo de Manila University, along with National University's Kristine Cayabyab, and Adamson University's Cheska Apag and Elaine Etang.
