Who made the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 All-Star Five?


EuroBasket 2025: Doncic, Schroder, Antetokounmpo

The 2025 FIBA EuroBasket tournament just concluded with Germany, the reigning FIBA World Cup champions, winning the competition after an 88-83 victory over Turkey in the final held in Riga, Latvia.

Among the several NBA stars competing for their home countries in the tournament, there was only a select group named to the tournament’s prestigious All-Star Five.

Dennis Schroder and Franz Wagner of the EuroBasket champs led the team alongside Alperen Sengun of second-placer Turkey. Greece’s Giannis Antetokounmpo and Slovenia’s Luka Doncic also made the all-tournament team.

Schroder averaged 20.3 points and 7.2 assists while leading his team all the way to the title, including a 16-point, 12-assist performance in the final match. He was also named MVP of the tournament. Wagner, meanwhile, was an integral partner for his countryman, leading the Germans in scoring with 20.8 points per game along with 5.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Sengun stuffed the stat sheet with an average of 21.6 points per game, 7th in the tournament, while also finishing in the Top-5 in both the rebounds and assists categories with 10.1 rpg and 6.6 apg. He also helped carry his team into the title game, where they fell just short.

NBA superstars Doncic and Antetokounmpo, meanwhile, led the whole of EuroBasket in scoring. Doncic averaged 34.7 points per game to lead all scorers while also posting 8.6 boards and 7.1 dimes. Antetokounmpo finished second to Doncic in the scoring race, finishing with averages of 27.3 points and 10.6 rebounds. His Greece squad finished on the podium after beating Finland in the third place game.

Making the All-Star Second Team were Nikola Jokic of Serbia, Lauri Markkanen of Finland, Cedi Osman of Turkey, Deni Avdija of Israel, and Jordan Loyd of Poland.
