Kieffer Alas named to Layton Christian Academy lineup
Filipino high school standout Kieffer Alas has been included in the Layton Christian Academy national team roster.
The squad revealed its lineup on Thursday (Philippine time).
In a social media post, Alas shared a photo of himself wearing his new kit alongside the Philippine flag, captioned “para sa pangarap.”
Alas joins 13 other international athletes on the Eagles’ roster under head coach Casey Stanley, who previously held coaching stints at Iona University and Arkansas State University.
The UAAP Season 87 high school boys’ basketball Most Valuable Player committed to the Utah-based school in May following his stint with De La Salle Santiago Zobel.
Alas spent 10 years with DLSZ before moving to the United States to continue his basketball career.
