Justin Brownlee leads Gilas Pilipinas' 18-man pool for FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers

Justin Brownlee will once again lead the fight as he banners the Gilas Pilipinas' 18-man pool for the first window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

The naturalized import headlines the cast that also features other holdovers Dwight Ramos, Japeth Aguilar, AJ Edu, June Mar Fajardo, Jamie Malonzo, Chris Newsome, Calvin Oftana, CJ Perez, Kevin Quiambao, Carl Tamayo, and Scottie Thompson, all of whom saw action in the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup last August.

The towering big man in 7-foot-3 Kai Sotto, who missed the Asia Cup action due to an ACL injury he sustained earlier in the year, is part of the list as he continues his recovery.

Barangay Ginebra wingman Troy Rosario and another naturalized big man Ange Kouame, who both have been invited to the pool before, are returning for another call-up this time.

Completing the expanded pool are the latest additions in RJ Abarrientos, Juan Gomez de Liaño, and Quentin Millora-Brown.
