Gilas Pilipinas opened its campaign in the first window of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers with a 41-point blowout of Guam, 87–46.

The two teams will meet again on Monday, December 1, this time at the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagle Gym.
