Gilas Pilipinas Women

The women’s team, meanwhile, aims to reclaim the title in the Southeast Asian Games.

It opened its campaign on Saturday with a 76–67 win over Malaysia and will next face Singapore on December 14 at 10:00 a.m.

For the first time since 3x3 basketball was included in the SEA Games lineup, the Philippines failed to claim a medal in both the men’s and women’s divisions. The men’s team lost to Malaysia in the bronze medal match, while the women’s team failed to reach the semifinals.
