UAAP: UP vs. La Salle — Season 88 Finals series recap

One more game.

The UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball finals is heading to Game 3 after De La Salle University and the University of the Philippines split the first two games of their best-of-three series.

The Green Archers took Game 1, 74–70, before the Fighting Maroons evened the series with a 66–63 victory in Game 2.

Both contests were decided in the final two minutes. Jacob Cortez delivered in the clutch in Game 1 with a three-pointer with around 30 seconds remaining, while Gerry Abadiano’s crucial baskets in the closing moments powered UP to the Game 2 win.
