Marcos congratulates La Salle on UAAP Season 88 title

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. congratulated De La Salle University for winning the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball championship.

The Green Archers defeated the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, 80–72, in Game 3 of the finals on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

In a social media post, Marcos described the finals series between the Green Archers and the Fighting Maroons as “great.”

“Congratulations to the UAAP basketball champions, the De La Salle Green Archers! A well-deserved championship for a great team,” Marcos said.

This is La Salle's 11th overall title in the UAAP.
