PBA: Calvin Abueva leads PH Cup scoring in resurgence with Titan Ultra
Calvin Abueva's resurgence with his new home Titan Ultra in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup continues as he emerged as the top scorer at the end of the elimination round.
The 37-year-old forward posted an impressive average of 23.6 points per outing, which was highlighted by a career-high 41 points in the Giant Risers' 100-96 victory over Meralco during their debut last October 8.
Abueva, who was traded to Titan Ultra from Magnolia in exchange for Will Navarro, is also shining in other aspects, posting an average of 11.9 rebounds to rank third overall in the conference.
RK Ilagan of Blackwater ranks second in scoring with 22.0 points while Abueva's teammate Joshua Munzon landed at third with 21.6 markers throughout the 11-game stretch.
Nine-time MVP June Mar Fajardo topped the board with 14.6 rebounds per outing while Robert Bolick, who was part of the Gilas Pilipinas team that dominated the 2025 SEA Games recently, led the assists department with 8.5 dimes a game.
