PBA: June Mar Fajardo captures 13th Best Player of the Conference award

June Mar Fajardo captured a record-extending 13th Best Player of the Conference after seizing the top individual award in the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup. 

The decorated big man was handed the plum on Wednesday as San Miguel goes up against TNT in Game 4 of the finals at the Mall of Asia Arena. 

The award was Fajardo’s second straight conference honor and his 13th overall as the league’s top player in a single conference.

Fajardo garnered a total of 1,246 points from 515 statistical points, 569 media votes, and 162 player votes.

He edged other candidates in Calvin Abueva of Titan Ultra, Justine Baltazar and Juan Gomez de Liaño of Converge, and Zavier Lucero of Magnolia.
