PBA: NLEX sinks Magnolia to 0-2 to remain spotless in PBA Commissioner's Cup

NLEX pulled away late to eke out a 112-105 win against Magnolia and remain unscathed early in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup on Sunday at the Ynares Center Montalban.

Import Cady Lallane starred with a double-double outing of 24 points and 11 rebounds laced with two assist, three blocks, one steal as the Road Warriors raced to a 2-0 card while the Hotshots fell to a 0-2 record.

Schonny Winston, Robert Bolick, and JB Bahio all chipped in 14 points each while LJ Gonzales and Kevin Alas chimed in with 13 markers apiece.

NLEX turned a slim 89-87 lead to a 99-93 cushion after Bolick knocked down a jumper halfway through the fourth quarter before his triple made it a 102-94 lead.

Lallane then sank a dunk before burying a jumper for a 108-100 lead with still 2:04 remaining. A dunk from Winston and a split from Bolick sealed it for NLEX, which was coming off a narrow 84-81 win over Blackwater last Friday.
