Germany has already secured its place in the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup as the host nation. Nigeria, meanwhile, qualified earlier as the champion of the FIBA Women's AfroBasket. France and South Korea have also clinched spots in the World Cup through the qualifying tournament.
The Philippines and Colombia, according to FIBA, are already out of contention.
With Germany already qualified as host and Nigeria holding an automatic berth as a continental champion, only the top two eligible teams from the tournament advance to the World Cup, according to FIBA — positions that have already been secured by France and South Korea.
