PBA: Blackwater overcomes Magnolia, snaps 12-game losing skid

Blackwater ended a 12-game losing skid by overcoming Magnolia, 97-91, on Sunday in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

This also marked Blackwater’s first win since October 10, 2025, when it defeated Terrafirma in the PBA Philippine Cup.

Import Robert Upshaw III dropped 35 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and three blocks, while Sedrick Barefield added 26 points to lead the locals as the Bossing improved to 1-2 in the conference.

The win spoiled Nuni Omot’s 38-point eruption for Magnolia, while Zav Lucero added 15 points as the Hotshots dropped to 0-3.
