NBA: Jimmy Alapag parts ways with Sacramento Kings
Jimmy Alapag has bid farewell to the Sacramento Kings.
In a post on Wednesday, Alapag thanked those who supported his dream of becoming an NBA coach and helping turn it into reality.
“Thank you SacTown. My time here is up,” Alapag said in a social media post.
“Grateful for all the love shown to my family and I. What was once a dream to coach in the NBA became a reality in Sacramento. Thankful for all the amazing experiences, the lessons, the growth and most importantly the time spent with some of the best people/ fans in the NBA. Looking forward to what God has planned next.”
Alapag joined the Kings’ coaching staff in 2023. Prior to that, he was with their G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings, from 2021 to 2023.
The former Gilas Pilipinas captain has yet to reveal what’s next in his career.
