Kai Sotto, Kiefer Ravena, Ray Parks part ways with respective B. League clubs
Filipino imports Kai Sotto, Kiefer Ravena, and Ray Parks Jr. left their respective clubs in the Japan B. League following the expiration of their contracts at the end of the 2025-2026 season.
7-foot-3 center Sotto ended his two-year stint with the Koshigaya Alphas while fellow imports Parks and Ravena closed out their runs with Osaka and Yokohama.
"I'm really thankful for the alphas community for the 2 years I've spent here. Thank you for giving me a chance to showcase what I can do, and also giving me another chance after I got a mid-season ACL injury, and offering me to come back another year," Sotto said.
"Koshigaya will always have a special place in my heart. Now, the future is still uncertain where I'll go, but the Alphas family will forever be remembered by me."
Koshigaya was Sotto's third B-League team after his stops at Hiroshima and Yokohama. It was with the team where he sustained an ACL in January 2025, which forced him to be sidelines in both of his professional and national team duties.
Meanwhile, both Parks and Ravena have ended their two-year runs with Osaka and Yokohama, respectively.
Parks signed with Osaka in June 2024 after closing out a three-year partnership with Nagoya.
Ravena joined Yokohama in the same month following his three-year campaign with the Shiga Lakes.
