In front of more than 13,000 fans at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, Andrei Caracut bounced back from a scoreless outing in Game 2 of Rain or Shine Elasto Painters’ PBA Commissioner's Cup series against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel last Friday.

Caracut caught fire early, knocking down five triples in the opening quarter alone to account for half of Rain or Shine’s output in the period.

However, he was held scoreless the rest of the way as the Elasto Painters absorbed a 103-98 defeat.

“May tira talaga akong bukas, pero ‘di na nasundan. Kailangan bumawi ulit,” Caracut said.

Despite the loss, Caracut remains confident Rain or Shine can regroup heading into the next game.

“Crucial na game ‘yun para sa amin. Sa ngayon, pahinga muna. Ilang sunod na games and pag-iisipan ‘yung adjustments, focus muna kami doon. Basta pahinga muna, mentally, physically,” he added.

Barangay Ginebra now holds a 2-1 lead in the series.
